Transcripts of letters which it is alleged were sent by the authors by 'precipitating' theem out of the air to Sinnett. The Mahatmas were the teachers of Madame Blavatsky & her Theosophical insights. Sinnett was a founding father of theosophy in the west & did much to popularise Buddhism.
