Boards, dj, VG/G. 119pp, b/w illustrations by Lynette Hemmant, dustjacket a little yellowed, a nice copy. Child's writing on the pastedowns - seemingly a child who wanted the book to look like it was from a lending library. Swedish set children's drama about the finding of Gold in the cold winter Swedish mountains & the strange characters who are drawn to the sleepy village where it was found by the lure of wealth. The book was adapted from a BBC tv serial which was shown in December 1971. The dustjacket shows stills from the series.
