Account of the Joint Indo-Australian expedition to climb the 24230ft unclimbed peak of Rimo, a remote mountain in the Eastern Karakoram. The peak was to remain unclimbed, and the team forced to make a difficult retreat along the famed Silk Road, which had seen its last foreign traveller in the shape of Eric Shipton in 1946.
