Full contemporary calf, VG. 268pp [ A1 removed & last page a contents leaf ] leather rubbed & with a small section on the rear cover where the leather is slightly pitted, internally a nice clean copy, paper a little yellowed. Odd volume of Galland's much reprinted version of the Arabian Nights. Abbé Antoine Galland published his translation in 12 volumes between 1704 - 1717, & it was soon anonymously translated into English, agin in 12 volumes between 1706 - 1717.
