Comprehensive History of the Franciscans in Scotland. Volume I gives a complete General history from the arrival of the monks in Scotland, at Berwick, in 1231 to the dispossession of the monks in the Scottish reformation as well as an account of each of the Convetual & Observatine Friaries ( 17 sites in total ) in Scotland. This is completed with an account of the pastoral duties of the friars. Volume II contains the documentary scources.
