Cloth, VG. 182pp, b/w frontis, 2 b/w plates, b/w illustrations by G K Evens [ Romany's son ]. SIGNED on the frontis, cloth a little rubbed, endpapers foxed & with a little foxing throughout. Another of the popular 'Romany' books which were adapted from the equally popular radio broadcasts made by Evens on all matters to do with the countryside & nature. He took his radio name from his Romany roots - Evens was born in a Gypsy caravan. In this book Evens travels around the countryside in his caravan, telling mainly of birds.
