Cloth, VG+. x+349pp, b/w frontis, 7pp b/w plates, index, Imperial German Eagle in gilt to the spine & upper board giving the book an impressive look on the shelf, spine a little faded, otherwise a nice, near fine copy. Account of the court of the last German Emperor Wilhelm II, written in 1914 just as the First World War was beginning. The real identity of the author, hidden because of the nature of the diary section detailing the events leading up to the War, is not known.
