Cloth, dj, F/F. x+233pp, endpaper naps, b/w map, 16 b/w illustrations, a nice fine copy in a near fine dustjacket. The author moved to Clyro with his family into the same house which Kilvert had lived in in the 1870's & from where he wrote his famous Diaries. Following Kilverts example Le Quesne also kept a diary of village life & in this book the two are compared, village life in the Wye Valley 100 years apart.
